| N-Run Wrekords is the
brainchild of a former employee of Enron Corp, the once heralded
energy giant. The project was started because well after a year of
one of the nation's largest bankruptcies, there were still
"no cuffs" for the people at the top who were
responsible for its downfall. N-Run decided to voice his feelings
on the matter using Hip-Hop music as his vehicle. While
researching the industry, N-Run, discovered a startling number of
would be Hip-Hop artist in the local community.
Learning from his negative, while
believing in his positive experiences in corporate America, N-Run
started N-Run Wrekords, with the intent to partner with various
U.S. corporations to educate urban youth on ethical
American corporate culture.
"The entertainment industry,
particularly rap music, brings out the entrepreneur spirit in
Urban America". Past "Hip Hop" fathers carry the
names of Grand Master Flash, Kool Herc, Afrika Bambatta, Boogie
Down Production, Public Enemy, Run DMC, NWA, Ice-T and the Gheto
Boys to name a few.
Present day fathers carry the
names of 2Pac, Bone-Thugs & Harmony, Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z,
Puff-Daddy, Snoop Dogg and Master P. Future fathers may well be
the likes of 50Cent, Ludacris, Eminem, Lil Flip, and Nelly. These
are just a few names that bless Hip Hop's past and future.
The culture is engrained in
American society and has out lived some of its founders. Although
the industry has been around for more than twenty-five years, it
has not reached its potential when it will benefit the thousands
of aspiring American Hip-Hop artists. N-run Wrekords hopes to
create an avenue for these aspiring artists. This avenue will be
used to bring revenues into their households, as well as, educate
them on the inner workings of the American corporate culture.
