| This project is
dedicated to my former co-workers at Enron. Many lost their entire
retirement funds. These men and women are the forgotten focus of
all the change that has and will continue to take place because of
the Enron Fall. My hats off to those American citizens who did not
"go postal". I know quite a few of you who thought about
it. I did. Think about it that is.
My prayers go to the families who were thrust into households with no income, no medical coverage and no retirement savings because of the greed of a few. Godspeed. But just like Daniel, you will stand the tests of time. The heart of America has always been its people. Resilient, Malleable and Forthright, the American citizens have paid those costs with our Time, our Money, our Hearts, and our Lives. The diversity of our country has been tried and upheld. The American people, regardless of gender, race, religion or social status, have on account, individually and collectively endured the blatant disregard of their well being by a variety of perpetrators. This non-discriminatory abuse of the American citizen has led to chaos. This chaos can be gathered and placed into a horrible epic if we just snapshot the last 15 years. Just A Few of Our Realities:
And Countless Murders on American soil by Americans If the pain of any victims families could be placed into words and felt in the hearts of those who read it, the outcome of our actions would change. However, this pain is not captured. And the reality is people get pissed-off when they are wronged. Most people have this inner desire to get even - and most control these feelings with rational behavior. However, more and more frequently in our society this control mechanism is failing. It's a symptom - not the problem. Personally, I have no more patience for turning the other cheek. So, to all you SOBs involved in the Enron collapse that took advantage of our belief, our work ethic, and our loyalty -- Beware! We have not forgotten. We're just waiting for the right Time, the right Opportunity, the right Method for payback. NRun |
